The play is a warm-hearted romantic comedy that takes place in Vinnie Caselone’s diner in a small town in West Virginia. At the begining of the play Molly. a famous country western singer who has fallen on bad times, arrives in town for a concert and comes to the diner. The upheavals that ensue create a terrific evening in the theatre. Eliza Miller has been in theatre since she played the bluefish in the fish ballet in Westport, CT. She got interested in theatre and wrote, directed and acted in plays that she wrote, inviting friends and neighbors to come. Her first play was called Not Quite Satisfied. Her passion for theatre led her to study theatre at Bard College. Her play, Vinnie, is the second play of the seaason on the 29th of November. |
